Jason Barney is Academic Dean at Clapham School in Wheaton, Illinois. He earned his BA in Ancient Languages and English Literature from Wheaton College. In 2009 Jason joined the faculty of Clapham School and began building the Latin program and Middle School. In 2012 Jason was awarded the Henry Salvatori Prize for Excellence in Teaching from Hillsdale College. In May 2014 Jason completed his MA in Biblical Exegesis at Wheaton College, where he received The Tenney Award in New Testament Studies. From 2015-2016 Jason taught Upper School Latin at The Geneva School of Orlando, while serving on the Clapham School Board of Directors. In his free time he enjoys strategy games, long discussions, and good books. Jason and his wife Ashley have a daughter named Alethea and are members at College Church.
Patrick Egan is Dean of the Upper School at Providence Classical Christian Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his BMus in Music History and Literature from Illinois State University and his MDiv and ThM from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Patrick and his family spent three years living and studying in St Andrews, Scotland, earning his PhD from the University of St Andrews. Prior to working at Providence, Patrick taught at Clapham School in Wheaton, and now serves on the Board of Directors there. In addition to teaching history courses at Providence, he has also taught courses in New Testament and Biblical Greek at colleges and seminaries in the US and UK. In 2016 Patrick published Ecclesiology and the Scriptural Narrative of 1 Peter with Wipf & Stock. Patrick is married to Kristin and has four children: Laura, Shannon, Joanna, and Cameron.
